Had a pair of these for 6+
years and didn't know they were washable but they never stank
or even close to it because of how the wool breathes. Had to
hand sew the upper back down to the sole about 2 yrs ago and
when that unraveled figured I got my money's worth and sprung
for new pair for both me and my husband. Since I work at home
these slippers are worn nearly all day except when it gets too
hot. These slippers have excellent comfort and I wear them
mostly for cushion on hard floors and the exquisite warmth and
comfort. I plan to buy several pairs for gifts. I have
Rheumatoid arthritis in my feet. The Haflingers are about my
6th pair. I fondly refer to them as my "lovelies" because they
are so I comfortable.
This was the first time I tried these slippers and wow, they
are wonderful. Soft, your feet are cool in them and very
comfortable. Having the arch in them makes a big difference in
relaxing your feet. No "bring in slippers- straight way they
fit like a soft glove especially since my feet give me trouble
in new slippers/shoes. I have a set that I wear at home and
another set that I wear at work. They're warm, lightweight,
and comfortable. My sister takes her set with her when she
