These slippers are incredibly
comfortable. I love the arch support, and they're warm without
being sweaty. The only drawback is that I have to wear them
with socks, otherwise they're a little scratchy and my ankles
get cold, because they don't come up around the ankle.
However, it's easy enough to wear socks, so they work really
well. This is my second pair of these slippers. With lots of
wear, the sole comes unstitched after a few years, but that
didn't prevent me from buying another pair because they keep
my feet warm even in bone-chilling weather. I wouldn't
recommend buying the next size up to accommodate a half size
because these stretch out slightly. Even the ones with a
harder sole will stretch out slightly in length.
Wears this shoe: In the evenings and whenever I'm home during
the day
Our family absolutely LOVES our New Tex Braid slippers. Now
that our son is getting married we just purchased his soon
to-be wife a pair. She loves them too!
Wears this shoe: any time we are home. We do not wear shoes in
our home. I'm originally from Michigan, so you'd think I'd be
used to cold weather. Wearing these slippers feel so, so good
and are a treat to my feet during this California cold
