I have been wearing Haflinger
slippers for years and love them. They keep my feet very warm.
They do tend to come unsewen where the sole meets the top but
when that happens, I just buy a new pair. I live in these
slippers from September to June. Whenever I'm home, they are
on my feet. They are warm but not too warm, they give some
support and they are not slippery on the floor. I have even
washed them in A lingerie bag in the washing machine-I let
them air dry. I have worn this type of slipper for the last 10
years and plan to continue wearing them as long as I can. I
have received one pair of these as a gift and, in turn, given
two pair as gifts. Very, very comfortable and warm in the
northeast winter. I've worn a pair for over a year every day
after work and they are still like new.
I've never worn a better slipper! These are the best for
wearing year-round. In the winter, I wear mine with socks, but
they are comfortable (and don't itch) with no socks. They're
great on hardwood floors, as they have competent arch supports
and skid resistors on the bottom that don't leave black marks.
My teenage son machine-washed his pair and they came out great
with little to no shrinkage. After a couple years of wear,
Merino Wrap Slippers tend to separate at the toe. I've owned
about four pair in eight years. For the level of comfort they
provide, I consider that a deal. Only warning: I order a whole
size up from my shoe size. |
