I had been looking for a pair
of comfortable slippers on line, reading reviews of any that
interested me. I originally was going for a shearling & suede
slipper, but the Haflinger slipper caught my eye after reading
the great reviews. I once owned a cork bottom Haflinger wool
shoe several years ago that were so comfortable, but
eventually wore out. When I replaced them I was disappointed
because the ribbon stitching on top was painfully tight due to
my high instep. I tried to wear them off and on but finally
threw them out. I was worried that the same problem might
occur. The soft bottom classic slipper does not have a ribbon
stitched around top so I took the chance and purchased them. I
am soooo glad I did, Down Wrap slippers are super comfortable.
They have nice arch support and I am able to wear them all day
on weekends without getting sore feet, which I usually have by
the end of the day. They are not made for outside, but I
believe it's the softness of the sole that makes them so
incredibly comfortable. I hope they hold up, but will replace
them gladly if they make it through the year. |
